Invitation to Allah
Who is better in speech than one who invites to Allah, works righteousness, and says, "I am a Muslim"?
Waman ahsanu qawlan mimman daAAaila Allahi waAAamila salihan waqalainnanee mina almuslimeen
Surah Fussilat 41:33
The goal of this blog is to invite people to Allah. I have spent the previous part of my life searching for truths about the world, how it works, and my purpose in this whole thing. I attended various intellectual schools of thought, traveled far and wide, met many people, and experimented with various lifestyles. I have finally found what I am looking for and it is the worship of Allah.
وَمَا خَلَقْتُ ٱلْجِنَّ وَٱلْإِنسَ إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُونِ ٥٦
And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me.
Wama khalaqtu aljinna wal-insailla liyaAAbudoon
"Those who believe, and whose hearts find satisfaction in the remembrance of God: for without doubt in the remembrance of God do hearts find satisfaction.
Allatheena amanoo watatma-innuquloobuhum bithikri Allahi ala bithikriAllahi tatma-innu alquloob
(beautiful recitation by Mansoor Al-Salami ) Surah Ar Rad 31:28
I aim to dedicate the rest of my life to worshipping Allah and inviting others to do the same. Anything else I spend my time doing is a waste of time.
I am grateful to Allah that I figured this out now. Sometimes I wonder why it took me so long to realize this but Allah's time is the best time. Allah is the best of planners.
If you have questions or comments about Allah and want to get closer to Allah, feel free to reach out to me I would love to share more about my journey with you and personally invite you to get closer to Allah.
Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "When a man dies, his deeds come to an end except for three things:
Ongoing Charity (Sadaqah Jariyah), Beneficial Knowledge and a virtuous descendant who prays for him (for the deceased).
